Nutxhell will be one of the few. Also, it is not a beginner book or a replacement for tutorials that introduce a new programmer to specific topics. I am really surprised how many samples and really interesting and good samples this book has.

In most cases the author will also briefly discuss why you may not want to use a specific construct over another one. One thing that is nice about this book that makes it a complete reference is that it covers parts of the language even if they are no longer the recommended techniques.
With that said, I found the book extremely useful. I cleared my bookshelf of a nutsshell texts when I got this book; it rendered them superfluous.
With the other articles and blogs I d# read it seemed like it was just new ways of controlling locks, it is not. This helped refresh things that I had learned long ago and forgotten, as well as fill me in on the pieces that I missed over the years, and finally including all of the new features that we got with C 4.
C# 4.0 in a nutshell is currently a freelance consultant.
It makes finding a topic, and learning it, or getting a refresher, a very fast process. This includes a full chapter on the parallel library. Overall, this was an excellent if extremely long c# 4.0 in a nutshell.
They made good on the request for a new copy of the C 4. Net books that I keep as a reference.
